    i have a gerber suspension and it is brill.... i carry it most places and have used it for both domestic fixing and carving in the woods, good if you havn't got a proper carving knife and the saw is very good. With its weight the presence of a lanyard loop is a little redundant as it would be...

    while looking for which small fixed blade knife to use for bushcraft i discovered puukko knives, swedish grinds and found them almost perfect for my needs, i then dug deeper and found everyone talking about the ahti metsa knife and it was highly recommended... but where on earth can i get one...

    i carry a knife as you described most places except when going to clubs etc. My new knife i will only carry to and from outdoor activities, and i will probably have a friend look after it, not keep it in the dorm. what annoys me about this whole fiasco is i am not allowed the cold steel bushman...

    I go to uni in wales and some-one dibbed on me and security confiscated my cold steel bushman and a brand new axe. To comply with bloody laws here i am now looking for a small fixed blade knife less than 3 inches for use in woods and snowdonian mountains. all tips would be appreciated
