Bought a brand new Beretta 92 FS and am enjoying it. Very accurate at 15 feet. Will shoot it with a sand bag tomorrow and work my way out to 50 feet.

You'll want to install a beavertail. Otherwise, your going to have a sore and abraded web on your shooting hand.

I think a 357 airweight is a very bad idea. Maybe there are some serious gorillas out there who can shoot them, but I prefer the 60. Those extra few ounces make a lot of difference in recoil, and are not that difficult to carry in comfort.

I have known people stupid enough to look down the business end of a loaded gun, but I suspect suicide. The only good thing about having it NOT be a suicide is that the guy's widow/family will get collect his full life insurance payout.

I just notice that the 220 carry elite (30oz) is lighter than the 229 (33oz). Does anybody own this gun? I'd like info about the recoil in the 220 carry elite. Thanks in advance.

They make most of their money with military and police contracts, so it's very likely there will be enough non-bling guns around for a long time. The only blingy one in my opinion is the Equinox.:D
