Angelina Jolie used one in the beginning of "Wanted" if I not mistaken.:D

    SR9c!!!!

I like it. On paper (or computer :)) measurements may be in favor of one gun to the next, but I say wait until you can hold it, see how it fits your hand and wallet then go from there.

Weaver, Picitinny, and 20mm rails question.

What is the difference between the three and are accessories interchangable? I fold several folding foregrips for 20mm rails and I was wondering if it would work on the other rail systems. This is for a custom job on my Sub 2000. Thanks

Just purchased a Taurus 24/7 in .45 ACP

WhoKnowsWho-I stand corrected, thanks for posting the other pic. They share the a similar design and I wasn't paying attention.

Just purchased a Taurus 24/7 in .45 ACP

I'm curious what the .45acp version exactly looks like cause the picture that was posted has the Ribber grip. I saw that same pic on the Taurus website which I hate cause they don't always show the correct pic with the listing they post. And if it doesn't have the Ribber then I'll just slap a...

CCW:9mm vs. .357Mag, capcity vs. power

I'm out of the country and after I read most of the posts here I just emailed my wife to put a Glock17 on layaway for me. I've shot both guns before with similar results. :) So I'm going with capacity over power. Thanks

CCW:9mm vs. .357Mag, capcity vs. power

Thank you all for the input. I think I will go with the Glock 17 for now. I've CC'd for almost ten years now and have no problem with the size of either gun but just thinking lately more or less the caliber. As many of you have pointed out that it's more important to hit with what your...

CCW:9mm vs. .357Mag, capcity vs. power

I carry a compact, single stack 9mm and/or compact, single stack .380 acp. I'm going to move to a full size and I'm at a crossroad between a 4", 7 shot .357Mag and 4.5", 17 shot 9mm. I want both but money will allow only one for the time being.

    Which .380?

I'm sure the Sig 230 is a fine weapon and like I said before I never shot one. You don't always have to change mags cause you ran out of ammo sometimes there are problems with mags and the mag release was a turn off for ME. With practice you can adapt to any system just like some don't like...

    Which .380?

I've never shot the Sig but is it the Sig 232 or 230 that has the mag release underneath the grip behind the mag. This was one of the turn offs for me and I went with the Bersa.

    Which .380?

The Bersa is great. Two others you might want to look into are the Taurus PT-938 (15+1, D/A, C&L) and PT-138 (12+1, DAO).

I'll have to look into that, thanks.

    M1 confusion

Thank you all for the clarification but maybe I should clarify, I'm possibly looking at getting a civilian M-1 (.30 carbine) that's why I brought up Springfield and Kahr differences. So if I look for parts, mags or accessories, I know I'm getting the right stuff. I guess I should ask or look...

    M1 confusion

I understand but why have 3 different M-1's with 3 different types of ammo?

    M1 confusion

What is a real M-1? Springfield has a M-1 that looks like our M-14 but then I saw the Auto-Ordnance/Kahr M-1. Neither looks alike and the Springfield is chambered in .308/.30-06 and the Kahr .30 carbine. So which one is a real M-1.

    Taurus 907?

I was looking in the '05 Handguns Buyers Guide and they listed a Taurus 907, 9mm, 7 round. Does this exsist because it's not on thier website and it is two rounds more appealing than the 905.

    Barrel lenght and recoil

I'm looking at getting my first centerfire revolver and I was wondering if the would be a difference between a 2" and 4" barrel. The two I'm comparing is the Taurus 617 and the 627. They both are very similar (from the specs I read) with the exception of the barrel. This will be a CCW but I...

Who has actually used thier CCW? (long)

Thanks for the input. Sometimes you so caught up in what to carry not the important stuff like have gun and use it well no matter what it is.

Who has actually used thier CCW? (long)

I've done searches on x caliber is better than y that one and b gun is better than c gun but I would like to hear from those who have used their CCW and what the outcome was. I'm in the military and law enforcement and have CC for 8-9 years and never had to use my weapon on or off duty. I'm...
