I bought a red box sig 226 ( certified pre-owned) for $500 and it looked and functioned like brand new. If you can find one I would recommend that route, best sig sauer bang for your buck.
I have one that takes glock mags, it's a handy little rifle. It matches up with my glock 35 magazine wise and I picked up a few scherer 28 rounders for it. Fits in the trunk nicely too
I have one of the carbine style ap4 rifles, it fired every round of GGG Lithuanian surplus I've run through it with no problems. It is an AR, so I keep it clean and lubed but have had no problems. It is a good looking well made example of the AR-10 family in my opinion.
I roll trijicon ta31ecos, it might be a little heavier, but it is a great compromise of long range (acog) and close in (doctor optics red dot). Only downside is the price but hey, you bought a scar might as well have A great optic to match.
I tend to appreciate simplicity, as such went with the Olympic arms 9mm upper. No need to change buffers, uses sten mags (cheap), and works. No sbr for me in Wa but have thought of the perm suppressor idea...
I like the timbersmith AK wood furniture. looks and fits great. I put it on a c.a.i Bulgarian AK-74 with cheap plastic furniture. It looks and feels a hundred times better. Cost is about $110 and it's tapco but good stuff for the money i'd say.
Here is Midway...
What about the "Made in belgium, assembled in brazil" Hi powers. Any good? Saw one at a pawn shop for 600$ the other day I could probably get for 500$ anything to look for?
so yeah about this hirtenberger.....is it any different than the hirt we used to get? i.e. loaded hotter or what. 1000 rounds for $375 seems like a good deal to me provided they don't kill you on shipping
