I felt the same way. I held all kinds of plastics before i felt the m&p and boy did it feel right. I wont be able to get the compact before the rebate ends which is ok with me. Life will go on.

Went to the range on saturday and had a blast! This was my first time to the range with my full size 40 and it shot just like i have been reading about. Only had time to put 80 WWB 165gr target and 20 American Eagle 180gr down the hole but i am already getting...
I will let everyone know, once i do get to the range, how everything goes. I love the ergo's as well. The trigger feels ok and i will be getting a trigger job done on it soon. Thanks!
Just turned 22 on thursday. I have been around firearms my entire life because my dad and my grandfather both served. And dont worry about the money situation I'll be good!
After some research i went with the S&W M&P 40 full size. I havnt had time to take her out yet and wont for two weeks. I just was hopping that those of you who own one could let tell of your experience with them.
Thanks for the tips, i will check them all out. I know where the first one you mentioned is located, since i always stop and drool. Hopefully ill be picking up an M&P 9 :)
CZ-27, although it wasnt bought, it was givin to me from my step-grandfather who was in WWII. The pistol has the Nazi stamp as does the holster. Also came with a certificate awarding the weapon to him from the government. Hasnt been shot since the war, no rust or anything.
