Although I love my pre-lock 686 dearly, if you are going to own ONE revolver, the GP100 is your gun. It defines reliability and robustness in a 357mag. Given the same amount of full house magnum loads, the 686 will have problems before the Ruger will.

First I've heard of problems with DT. I hope this isn't a trend because I have come to heavily rely on DT ammo for much of my SD loads. My SD pistols in 9mm, 357sig, and 357mag are all kept loaded with DT. Anyone else able to provide any negaive feedback about DT ammo?
