Looking for a price check on a 4" Model 13 .357, and I'd like more experienced eyes than mine to give it a look-see.
Trigger is pretty smooth.

Folks,
What's a decent price for a 2.75" blue Ruger Security Six .357 that's in "very good" condition, excepting very mild pitting on the backstrap and a turn ring on the cylinder?
Thanks!
Back with another newbie question.
I was out shooting my S&W M13 (4" .357 K-frame) today; shooting some commercially reloaded 158 gr. lead SWC .38's, which shot pretty dirty. Anyway, after my first or second cylinder of said reloads I ejected the spent shells w/out a problem...
Another question from the revolver newbie:
Purchased a 2-3/4" Ruger Security-Six over the internet a little while back. It's got a gap between the frame and the crane. Should I be concerned? How much?
Eventually I'll figure out what I'm doing when buying these things.
Folks,
Looking desperately for Butler Creek boot grips for a square-butt K-frame. If anyone has any to sell, or knows where I might find 'em, I'd much appreciate it. It's driving me nuts trying to find 'em! :banghead:
Hello, everyone.
Today, I purchased a well-used S&W Model 13-3 (blued K-frame Smith .357 with fixed sights) --with a truly sweet and tempting trigger--for $289 OTD.
However, it seems I am a yutz when it comes to buying revolvers. I did not read the excellent thread here regarding what to...
I was at a gun show last month and got to handle an ASP Security Six converted to .44Spl. The grips on the gun were wood, but extremely thin and low-profile. I'm curious to know if anyone could tell me what kind of grips they were and where I might get 'em.
Just picked up a 2 3/4" Ruger Security Six and have a question relating to its grips. I'm not at all happy with the factory grips, which are uncomfortable and will likely leave the piece hard to control in rapid fire. Instead, I've placed Pachmayr Gripper Professional grips on the Ruger. These...

I was shooting my 3953 (DAO version of the 3913) yesterday when I noticed a problem. The S&W DAO action has two trigger "reset points" - one where the sear partially engages, and one where the sear fully engages. Each point is marked by a "click" as the trigger returns forward. The problem I...
