I had 3 duds out of 6 boxes and noticed some of the same differences. Two of those boxes were purchased in Colorado, the other four in New Mexico. I don't know which rounds were from which boxes, unfortunately. I don't mind using it for plinking now, but those duds have gotten the brand removed...
