my primary carries 12+1, and usually the spare mag is one from the compact version so 15 rounds. Though I have gotten lazy about the spare mag. :(

1911 not exactly a beginner's CCW, but I would think alot of folks in the Dillinger and Texas Ranger days carried the GI type version just like SA makes. Colt 1908, but how reliable are those? Would go more with the PPK from Bond fame.

we have a Marlin and two Rossi's, a 16" large loop and 20" standard loop, all in 357. Our Rossi's have both worked wonderfully, including firing a bit faster than normal with Cowboy Action. The shorter one is around 8 years old I think and the 20" is around 4 years old.

I've seen some for sale for Remington, but I can't find anything for a 18.5" Mossberg barrel with regular notch and post sights like on my 24" slug barrel....is this a gunsmith type of a project? thanks for the help KB
