I received an email saying that they could be up to 100 days out on processing orders because of the rush scene November. Patience is a good thing with the CMP :)
If I were you I would stick to surplus ammo. A friend on mine has a gun shop and he sold a M1 and the new owner brought it back because they bent the op rod in the third shot with commercial ammo. GI ammo had a powder similar to 4895 and a 146gr. bullet. that is what I would do, personally.
I didn't see anyone mention the CMP for M1's. I got my first service grade a year ago and it is nicer than the new production ones. That my baby on top!!
looks like the one I just picked up a couple weeks ago. I love mine, just hate feeding it .308 is expensive:fire: so i need to get my reloading bench hot:banghead:. Enjoy!
so I am getting the feeling like I should shy away from a Century L1A1.... just for basic reliability issues
which is ok because another shop has a WARS 10/63 that caught my eye
