I can't wait to see the next post. But unfortunately I have more bullets to deliver. I'll check back in here in a few hours.

    357 Maximum Rounds are huge!

    Starline doesn't make .357Max.

    s&w .32long

Hmmmm, Didn't I just read where sigma40ve posted the patent dates rollmarked on the barrel? :scrutiny: Have you ever seen a vintage S&W revolver without patent dates? Hell's Bells™ Colt couldn't even produce a revolver with a breech loading bored through cylinder until S&W's patents...

Seeking Advice on a Revolver Gift

POPPYCOCK! For one thing look at what he's already fired; Hell's Bells™, he LIKED the .45 Colt so he can dang sure stand .357 recoil in a K-frame. YOu can always sttart him out on light .38 Special loads. And unless you live in Bumflax, Egyptina you can probably find remanufactured .38...

    Welcome Back, Mr. Nightcrawler

Now THAT'S great casting! Just PELASE do not let him sing on the soundtrack.

    Moron at the range!

Now that's just bad design on the part of the range/gunshop. To have a public area on the other side of a wall that could possibly be shot through is just plain stoopid. (Dee Dee Dee) You MUST consider that any surface even remotely in the firing area will probably be struck sooner or later...

Seeking Advice on a Revolver Gift

Well since he's a stockholder, a S&W is a very good choice. But why a new one? Why not a classic so he'll know what made S&W great? My suggestion would be to find a nice Model 19 or stainless Model 66 - Four inch barrel, K-frame - .357 which also shoots cheaper .38 Specials - Light...

    Welcome Back, Mr. Nightcrawler

I wouldn't exactly refer to Michael Chiklis as effeminate. (note Chiklis was mistakenly cast as Big Eddie in the previous post) As I see it, "Big" Eddie is big in name alone. Big, only as in at the top of the ladder, not in stature. Remember "Mr. Big" from Rocky & Bullwinkle? He was smaller...

    My 5" 629 idea

Carebear, a few years ago there was a thread where a THR member (Rangie) posted pics of his S&W 610 where he had removed the underlug with a belt sander. The pics no longer show up in the thread but I saved them because he had done such a nice job.

    Welcome Back, Mr. Nightcrawler

William Conrad[/B]] Is this really the end of Big Eddie? But what about Gordon? Was he on the plane with Eddie or has he once again escaped? Will be there enough clues to lead Nightcrawler to him? And what about the reunion clebration? Will everyone be wearing smiles...

    S&W 547

The 547 was noteworthy in that it seems to work well with almost all brands of 9mm ammo. Whereas moonclips are notoriously finicky. There is so much variation in extractor groove dimensions that some just won't fit the clips.

Recent S&W Model 27-2: Trying out my new camera!

The Model 29 has a bull (straight/heavy) barrel. The Model 27 & 28 has a tapered barrel. I weighed all of mine a while back but I can't find the stats. As I recall my 28-2 weighs the same as my 25-5. My 629 weighs an ounce or two more and my Model 57s weigh an ounce or two more than...

    Welcome Back, Mr. Nightcrawler

It varies a bit but it usually consists of a good pair of western boots. A qood quality Fedora, Derby or similar fully brimmed felt hat. A traditional vest. And an American made electric bass with only four strings and a Hipshot. On other words, just your average Blues Bear. There...
