I had that same issue on my first build. The problem then was a hammer or trigger spring arm? was slightly out of align in the lower, I had a bolt action rifle until I moved the arm of the spring . I had that problem once with 6.8. I got screwed up between using carbide vs steel sizing dies and set the steel sizing die the same as a carbide, which did not fully size my brass.

Well, I'll post my 61pts with irons, man I didn't realize how bad my eyes have gotten. I could pretty much see the center bull, but pretty hazy on the smalls. Fun stuff. Shot with my son.

My son shot a woodchuck at 520 yds with a Savage M110 223. Never have heard the end of that one. It was ridiculous.

I just bought both the grips and hardware from Numrich. I am not sure there is that much material to take out to make the bushings flush, but will check.
