It works, just remove the mag safety (Part 42) and the spring (part 43).
I did it a couple of years ago for my boss. It worked perfectly. My boss sold it to another officer and it is still working perfectly.
More recently, another officer bought a Bersa and I removed that mag safety...
My series I Kimber Classic Custom which I bought around Aug. 23, 2003, it had 300 rounds through it and had never seen a holster, it looked new. I bought it, and didn't get a chance to shoot it right away because my wife and I went on our honeymoon. I took it with, but she never let me go to...
My daily beater. You can see where I removed the skateboard tape from the frontstrap. (Mental note: replace skateboard tape, ASAP) Other side has a bit more wear, but it's not showing well in the pictures. Only thing still MIM is the grip safety, but that will soon change.
The...
Wilson 47's with the Tripp upgrade.
Had problems with Wilson's followers. The slide stop shelf would wear and then while shooting it would push the slide stop out. Switched to Tripp's no problems in thousands of rounds. The Wilson followers would work great until about five hundred...
Excellent!
When I get to work tonight I am pulling my hard armor plate out of my vest and putting a Chewy doll in it. He will stop bullets and I can have his head poking out of the top of my shirt and I will talk to him like he is my partner on traffic stops. :D
Me: "Ma'am...
A buddy of mine who was in the South African Army loves the SP1 which he carried there and is still trying to figure out a way to get his pistol shipped to the US without making waves.
His mom carries the SP1 General's Model (Compact) and she loves it and is quite deadly with it. Based of...
My father-in-law saw my Kimber and stated that he carried a 1911 in Vietnam. He was a guard at a base and they had one 1911 that they handed shift to shift. One night one of the soldiers wore it on the outside of his parka while it was raining and then gave it to the next shift without oiling...
I always carry my Browning Buckmark with me. When hunting pheasants and deer, I always seem to bag at least two or three cottontails. Yum, rabbit stew.

Every company can and will produce a lemon or two, things slip by quality control department. They are only human.
I was at an indoor range with a buddy who had a German Walther P99, he had a malfunction and didn't know what to do. I looked at it and it hadn't gone completely into battery...

I borrowed the format from Mr. Stephen A. Camp, I hope he doesn't mind.
Already owning a Springfield Mil-Spec that I rebuilt, I fell in love with the design of the 1911. So after several months of prodding my Chief and Lt. they finally gave me the go ahead to carry a 1911 on duty...
