Me and another member of our gun club have a CZ Varmint MTR .22 cal. He installed bolt shims in his and hopes it will improved the guns accuracy. Are bolt shims really necessary in a MTR since it has a match grade action to begin with?

I have a Ruger 77/22 and can't find what the proper torque settings for the action screws are suppose to be. Can anybody help me out?

Another question for CZ 457 MTR shooters. For those of you who have shot NORMA TAC-22, what is your opinions? How does it compare to CCI Standard. I'm thinking about getting some.

You are shooting a 5 shot group from a rifle rest. Everything is great. Suddenly there is a flyer. Outside of shooters error, what would cause this? I understand that it's the ammo, but my question is why? What causes one round to not shoot consistent with the others?

This is my first CZ I've owned. The only thing I did, after about 500 rounds, was adjust the factory trigger down to about 1.5 lbs.
