    STEYR club is born.

sturmruger, I'm getting some work done to my S40. I had difficulty in the slide going all the way back into battery, so my armorer (after the Montezuma, Iowa prople could not figure it out) weakened the firing pin spring that begins cocking as the slide closes. No problems with that now although...

    PT Night Sights

I don't think that Trijicon offers the bar-dot configuration. I certainly have never seen it.

    PT Night Sights

WJR, I have the PT bar-dot type and the bar does not seem bright enough. I think because it is too thin of a line, so I too would recommend Trijicon or Meprolight.

    HK USP .357sig

Yes, as usual, Dr. Ken is right. I have a USPc 40 and have an Hk .357Sig barrel which works great in it! I've never read anything about Hk suggesting no swapping. I know SIG recommends it on theirs (229 and 239). You might also check at HkPro.com. and ask that question about swapping.

    Kahr PM9 or Kel-Tec P11?

I know that the Kahr PM9 is a superior handgun from the quality standpoint, but with Kel-Tec P11s getting more and more reliable, wouldn't you want the Kel-Tec for the increased mag capacity (between 10 to 15 rounds if you trust some of the SW mags - but at least 10 rather than 6 in the Kahr...

    Kahr PM9 or Kel-Tec P3AT

Mini14jac, good advice to buy both. As mentioned, I just got the opportunity to shoot the Kahr PM9 and was impressed with its quality. It just did not seem that concealable in my pocket. Like you said, not much more than a KT P32, but enough that I would be concerned. Maybe I'm paranoid or...

What if the M-16 was never adopted?

Gabe has a good point. If the AR 15 was not adopted as the M16, we may have wound up with the AR 18, which was developed after Eugene Stoner left Armalite by about 5 engineers there. Ir used the AK 47 piston/tappet system rather than the direct gas into the chamer system of the AR 15, and...

Is anyone familiar with the ballistics of the .380 KT P3T round versus the .32 KT P32

I found this site that has some comparisons between .380 and .32: http://www.alpharubicon.com/leo/calloadgoshin.htm It appears that going with the .380 and with the Federal Hydrashoks is the way to go.

Is anyone familiar with the ballistics of the .380 KT P3T round versus the .32 KT P32

I am doing the research and wondered if anyone had already invented this wheel. Thanks.

    Kahr PM9 or Kel-Tec P3AT

Thanks for the informative replies! I was able to shoot a Kahr PM9 and handle (but not shoot) a Kel-Tec P3T this weekend. My impressions were that the Kahr is well made, durable, reliable and accurate at defensive distances (21 feet). But, it was a little big for me for a pocket gun. It is much...

    Kahr PM9 or Kel-Tec P3AT

Concerned Citizen, what is the T-9 8 round magazine? It is not flush is it because even the 7 rounder has that butt ugly butt plate!

    Kahr PM9 or Kel-Tec P3AT

Of these two models, what are your opinions of the best for pocket carry. I realize some of the discussion would involve caliber discussion of 9mm v. .380.
