    Gun Safe Problems

Is that with someone kicking your door in :D Fact is some people are just more comfortable with the mechanical. I know you will be getting into your safe after an EMP while I'll be using spears and rocks. :) Maybe I can use my safe as a barricade!

    Gun Safe Problems

I've got a 4 year old Winchester that I have opened at least once a week with the digital lock and haven't had a single issue. The safe has a lifetime warranty and 1 year on the lock.

    Gun Safe Problems

I know this is an old thread, but I had to weigh in after seeing this. A mechanical combo lock on the Ft. Knox for instance requires the following procedure to open: 1. Turn the dial left until the first number of the combination aligns with the opening index the fourth time. 2. Turn the...

    Fort Knox M2 safe

The steel is the big push for the M2. My local dealer has the M2 60x25x31 for $1999 + $149 for S&G digital lock + $300 delivery and bolt. I have a Winchester safe about the same size, obviously not the same quality of the Fort Knox. It's about 300 lbs lighter and I believe uses 12g steel...

    Fort Knox M2 safe

I'm torn between the M2 and the Defender. Seems the 2 give and take from each other. What one gives the other takes. This comparison is for the same size 60x25x31. The M2 is new and no frills. The M2 has 6 active locking bolts, 4 active on open side, 1 active top, 1 active bottom, and 4...

Hornady LNL and Powder through expander question

Thank you for the follow up, I just wasn't seeing how to adjust that bump out. Now I have confirmation and it does not appear that the powder measure rotates past the point where you can still see it (it would not drop powder). BTW, I am using a progressive.

Hornady LNL and Powder through expander question

I assume you linked to the site for the FAQ? It was my first stop BTW. I've read it and made adjustments with the same results. The powder drop arm must travel fully to top of it's extension for the flare to happen. If I raise the bracket I must screw the powder assembly down to get he...

Hornady LNL and Powder through expander question

Has anyone had any issue with the PTX hitting the base plate and raising the powder drop arm with no shell in the shell plate? Wondering if this is normal. The powder drop arm is coming up about .75". I'm loading .45 ACP hard cast, probably the widest flare I will need so the PTX will be at...

Rust ! Just on Hornady Micrometer/bright steel

I've seen the same rust on my LNL which is setup in my garage. The videos of others who have theirs inside still seem pristine.
