Glock trigger safety not fully extending

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give that a try. I have been keeping it uncocked, but it was like that when I got it. I wonder if it comes from the factory dry-fired. So is it better for the springs to keep it cocked or uncocked, or does it matter? I've just been keeping it dry-fired so I...

So the whole trigger needs to be replaced?

Glock trigger safety not fully extending

I have a brand new Glock 36 in nearly perfect working order. It's been to the range once, and I put 100 rounds through it with no malfunctions. The only problem is that the trigger safety lever is not extending all the way out. It sits just far enough forward that it blocks trigger movement, but...

    More accurate BUIS for ar15?

Small aperture and easily adjustable elevation out to 600m. Costs a bit, though. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=26575/Product/AR_15_M16_USGI_BACKUP_IRON_SIGHT

    AR reciever extension castle nut

Thanks, taliv! There's one on its way to me now. For the price, that thing looks about ten times more solid than anything I've seen on Brownell's.

    AR reciever extension castle nut

There has to be an unorthodox but effective method for removing that little :cuss: with a garage full of tools, none of which are an armorer's spanner wrench. We've tried the stick-a-flathead-in-the-notch-and-hammer method, we've tried a strap wrench, and we've tried an adjustable wrench with a...

    Altered Gun Photos

And Mr. twofifty, here is a picture of the locking lugs on a Px4 barrel, stolen from Wikipedia: I don't (yet) own a Px4, so I can't take a picture of the underside of the slide for you, but here is a link to a cross-section of the Boberg XR9, which also uses a rotating barrel...

    Altered Gun Photos

kingmt, I found this on The Firing Line via a google image search. I think it will be relevant to your interests: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b357/P97/p90-1.jpg

    Altered Gun Photos

Okay, this is my half-assed Kahr K9 two-tone with the ASP-type mag window. I didn't give it the guttersnipe sight of the ASP, though. Oh well.

    Altered Gun Photos

I created an image of my ideal Beretta Px4, and I was wondering to myself where I could post it on THR. Well, in case there's not another thread for this, let's see your additions and changes to current production guns. I suppose that could include 'shopped photos, 3D models, or drawings...

    Suggestions for a compact sa/da 9mm

Alright, swing by and drop it in the mailbox! :D Yeah, the P2000 is definitely on my list. I know someone who has the LEM version and I think wants to get rid of it. Is it possible to convert it to sa/da, or is that like changing a stick to an automatic? I need to look in to Sig more. Those...

    Suggestions for a compact sa/da 9mm

I forgot to mention that it needs to be lefty friendly. Everything has an ambi safety, but an ambi or reversible mag release would be good as well. I saw that the Bersa Thunder 9mm fits the bill and even has an ambi slide catch... but it's a Bersa. (If you haven't caught on yet, I'm rather picky)

    Suggestions for a compact sa/da 9mm

I do love the rotating lock-up, but it... sort of looks like a butt. I might feel differently if I got my hands on it. I wish the Boberg was going to be offered in sa/da. That would solve all of my problems. Small, sleek, rotating barrel.

    Suggestions for a compact sa/da 9mm

I'm sure there are at least 248730 threads that read more or less like this one, but here's my version: I'm looking for suggestions for a compact 9mm that shoots single and double action (exposed hammer). I want it to be something concealable, so thin is good, but not necessarily single...

    Which Boberg XR9?

No, no... I'm saying that in the pictures I've seen, there isn't a warning on the gun, and the caliber isn't stamped on the barrel, unlike almost every other production gun out there. I'd be thrilled if that was the case, as it would make a very sleek looking gun. Just smooth metal and "Boberg...

    Which Boberg XR9?

Mr. Boberg, are the production guns going to look like the pictures we've seen, with "Boberg XR9S" on each side of the slide, and without a "read manual" warning stamped on the frame? And will the caliber designation be stamped on the outside of the chamber? Also, should I assume it's a...

    Doctor asks-guns in the house?

I actually checked the "yes" box for that question earlier this week. Yes, it may seem silly to single out guns over other dangerous household items, but if my doctor feels it's relevant information, I have no reason to deny it. After all, I'm guaranteed privacy under the law. And frankly, as an...
