Basically, I can get M1A mags for 25$ each. Made by CMI to GI spec as oppose to 40-50$ for the AR-10 mags and I already have some M1A mags.

I have heard of people doing it but is it really possible to convert M1A/M14 mags to Armalite AR-10 mags. If so how? Could I do it myself, will Armalite convert them? What kind of tools would I need? Please some help for an AR nube and yes I have been converted to the AR platform

Almost anything in 5.7x28mm I find it to be a totally worthless cartridge (.223 type wounding except it only penitrates 3-4'') It truly is an answer searching for a problem. I say almost because I would buy a bolt-action varmit/target rifle in that cal.
