Well, I ordered a bunch of Precision Bullets and had the opportunity to get some of the 170 gr .400s loaded up and tested it out in a few guns.
Haven't tested for accuracy yet but the bullets look good. I really like the coating, no exposed lead, really clean to handle.
On the conventionally...

I've found a few places on the web that carry them, including trusty ol' CDNN, but I was wondering if anyone had experiance with some of the others.
Anyone try their luck with Tactical Innovations Inc? http://www.tacticalinc.com/

Years in the making, I can finally post this thread. I have an AR finally. Being me it's a weird bastardized AR but at least the lower and upper will fit standard lowers and uppers.
A little background. It's a Cav Arms Mk II lower I got in a trade with an Armalite parts kit I installed...
All these Mouse gun threads got me thinking. What do you have that's your "little" gun with "big" firepower. Lots of bang per ounce lets say. I know favorites are the Glock sub-compacts, 2-3" revos, and nifty new double-stacks like the Warthog and my personal fave, the CZ RAMI. Post what you...
Local shop has one for $200. It intrigues me as I've never seen any Tokarev pattern pistol available before. I'm at work and blocked from a lot of good websites but have managed to find some information on them.
It appears to be in extremely good condition. Covered in white grease inside and...
My Dad has decided he wants a nice S&W and he's taken a shine to the 8 shot 357s on the N-frame.
I know there are at least two Performance Center models, the 627 out currently and the 627 V-Comp "Jerry Gun". What else should he be looking for when shopping?
Tax return is coming soon. I can't help it, it should all go to credit cards but I know I'm going to buy at least one gun with part of it. Help me prioratize.
Keep in mind that I can't yet legally CCW most places and I have several excellent CCW guns already. All of these options would be for...
I recently got an early production blued CZ 97B used. Slide dated '98, test target is Jan 1999. Finally got it out to the range yesterday. Here's some of the results.
The 5 shots punching out the X prove the gun is extremely accurate. The 5 shots NOT punching out the X prove I need more...
My friend Kamicosmos has an Automag II that's always been a little sqirly. Finally it started light striking every 2 or 3 rounds and so he just stopped shooting it. Recently Brownells has started carrying parts for them again so I ordered up a set of replacement springs and tore it appart to see...
Thanks to Simmon's Gunsmithing for letting me borrow their gear so I didn't have to freeze my butt off in the garage to get this project done.

An interesting project, still in the works. Left handed bullpup AK. Still a bit rough and a bit heavy but he's making progress. The hammer falls at any rate ;)
Other than the ones I've given out of course :)
Black Dodge 2500 pickup with white truck liscence plates. Couldn't make out the state. They were on highway 69 headed south in Kansas City, KS. I imagine it's a fellow THR member. Looked good on the back :)
I wasn't sure exactly how my Mom would respond to the M60 Lady Smith I got for her for Christmas. She was deeply enough touched to cry at the sentiment. I'd say it was a success. She can't wait to get out to the range to try it out.
I love my Mom, and nothing says "I love you" quite like a...
1st time I had taken apart any revolver. Man, it was intimidating taking apart my 646 to give it a really good bath. It started binding after I had used some particularly dirty ammo. Now I see why. Lots of very very small nooks and crannies. When I 1st got it appart I was afraid I wouldn't be...
I want to make some target loads for my Super Redhawk 454 with full wadcutters.
I found that Penn Bullets produces .452 cal full wadcutters and their famous Thunderheads. I also found that NEI Handtools makes a mold for them in .454 cal.
I'm a cheepscate and trying to avoid paying the very...
OK, I've bugged you about the source of lead. Now I'd like to get some thoughts on equipment. First of all what would you recommend for books on the subject?
I'm looking at getting the following from MidwayUSA for starters:
Lee Commercial Mold Handles for 6-Cavity Bullet Molds
Various...
