Actually dondavis3's gun is a commercial P-38/II (you just can't see the slide markings in the photo). It's identical to the military P-1 in every respect (including the circle/dot inspection stamp) - it just has the "P-38/II" model designation on the slide. It was imported by Interarms in...
Let's see...with my Glock 19 (one spare) and Kel-tec .380 (two spares in a Leatherman pouch) I carry a bit over 50 rounds...plus a couple extra mags for each in my bike tank bag... :)
I think some Osprey scope problems are caused by loose turret caps. The three set screws aren't always tightened at the factory so the caps can either pull off or turn without adjusting the point of impact. The instructions aren't exactly user-friendly either...
Anyway, here's...
I wonder how many people really need a $1,500 scope? Can't be that large of a market for professional snipers. I bought a $150 Nikon Prostaff...works just fine on my S&W MP-15R (5.45X39mm). Just put an Osprey 6-24X50mm on my AR-10A4 .308 SPR for about the same price. Looks like a decent scope...
Snap caps are needed for all .22 rimfire guns. They are also needed for any other gun where the firing pin retaining pin goes through a cut-out in the pin itself. Kel-tecs & Stars are good examples.

Waiting for my turn....
I think that two months waiting for Ruger to correct a manufacturing defect is unacceptable, especially since they're cranking out new "371" series LCP's now. Ruger should catch up on their recall backlog as a higher priority than building new ones... :(
Edit: Spoke...
While the differences between the P3AT and LCP actually are significant (it's sort of like a Gen 3 version), I like the Kel-Tec better...so that's what I bought. My P3AT's fired 250 rounds so far without a hiccup... :)
