Welp I chrono CCI stingers out of my Walther TPH at anywhere from 1100 to 1200fps. I know they are 36 grns and will suposidly not expand at these velocitys. Which is acctually a good thing considering that you are supposed that have that 12" of penetration above all. I have killed quite a few...

Ive been shooting that stuff through my savage 10p and getting a pretty consitant 1/2" @ 100yrds with it. I dont think I have ever shot any surp so consitantly accurate. It shoot's 1-1/2-2" out of my L1A1. To be honest I didnt know it was 144grn though. It seems to have the same point of Impact...

Just buy a quality big brand piece; Ruger, Colt , S&W, Sig, Browning and it will last you a lifetime. They are cheap to feed, easy to learn with, fun as hell...and really would work...

Yep. when I was a kiddie, I had a pal that bought one. The trigger was somewhere between 18-20lbs. Long and dao kinda thingy. The gun was huge.......it really was meant to go off more than one with one pull. In semi, it's a cool looking paperweight.:D
