Real Reason for 380 over a 32 cal.?

"Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" -Jim Croce greatest hit! Really like my Kel-Tec P-32. Hits where I point it, doesn't jam.

    Bersa/Firestorm 22lr

I don't own a Bersa/Firestorm 22. On the Bersa Chat site, under the Bersa Chat forum, they have a forum for Bersa 22 and Firestorm 22 Models: Bersa Chat

    Ordered from Midway USA

I have ordered several times from Midway. Never had a problem. You should have an email from them with the status of your order. I usually get the email from them quickly, within the next business day. I would contact them.

Contacting a company, will they really care?

I have read that Corbon 60 grain JHP will expand when shot through a Kel-Tec P-32. Here are two links: .32 acp Gelatin Tests and A Look at the .32 ACP and .32 NAA

    XD questions

The only 9mm pistol I have is my Springfield XD. I really like that it is 100% reliable with the inexpensive ammo I buy (Federal from Walmart and CCI Blazer aluminum from Natchez Shooters Supplies). Also it fits my hands well. The factory sights are "six o'clock hold" on the XD. I shoot a little...

New Improved Remington .22 'bulk' ammo

I quit buying Remington bulk after the last box of 550 had 12 duds. I tried every one of those duds at least twice in my Ruger 22/45, and they would not fire. Never have that problem with Federal bulk, so I quit buying the Remington bulk. I hope they have improved their quality control.

    Ammunition to Go Info Needed

I have bought from them 8 times in past 4 years. Never any issues, they are good people to deal with.

    Federal Auto Match .22 ammo?

I have fired several 325 round boxes of Federal Auto Match through my Ruger 22/45. It is reliable - all rounds go bang, unlike Remington Golden Bullet bulk, which I stopped buying because of the multiple dud rounds per box. I find it more "smokey" than CCI Mini Mag. I buy the Auto Match when the...

    Non-chlorinated brake cleaner

The non-chlorinated brake cleaner from my local auto parts store made the black grips on my Ruger 22/45 fade. I wiped the grips with CLP to restore the black color. Maybe it was just their store brand of brake cleaner, as I've had other people tell me that shouldn't happen.

    A S&W Christmas x 3!

I have shot the SW9VE. About the same size as a Glock 19. The trigger pull is stout. About 9# for the SW9VE versus about 5# for the Glock 19 is what I have read (I have never measured either one with a gauge). I have heard that the SW9VE is very reliable. I wouldn't mind owning one, but I...

    Walmart ammo & prices

There are several Walmart stores near my house. Their ammo prices are lower than other stores nearby, and I haven't had any problems with their customer service.

    Need a few recommendations

FNH has a manufacturing plant in Columbia, SC where they make the FNX and FNP series handguns (9mm, 40, 45). They also make the M-16 and other weapons for the U.S. military there. The parent company (Fabrique Nationale Herstal) is located in Belgium. I used to own an FNP-9, the slide was...

    Rubber innertube grips

Near where I live, there is a bicycle shop that does repairs. I asked the man doing the repairs and he gave me an innertube with a hole in it that he was throwing away.

    Bersa 380 Thunder

:what:Wow! I guess I don't feel like I have enough money to be willing to crush a tool (which is what a handgun is for me) because the I would have fixed it, and then sold it to recover some of my money.

a 16 year old girl in love with a 1911?

In my experience, she will grow out of it (her first love). Just kidding, it's great that your daughter goes shooting with you. My younger daughter likes shooting my Ruger 22/45 and my Kel-Tec P-32, but dislikes my SA XD-9. I don't think her hands fit the XD-9 well. Isn't the 1911...

    Most reliable .22 auto pistol

Ruger 22/45. The local range that rents handguns has several different make/models in every caliber except 22 LR. They only rent the Ruger 22/45 in 22 LR. They got rid of the other 22 LR because they had issues. I own a Ruger 22/45 myself, and like others mine is reliable, accurate, easy to...

Seecamo LWS 32 ACP: we dont need no stinking sights

+1. I had the same experience earlier today at the indoor range point shooting my P-32 at 3 to 5 yards. At 7 yards, I used the sights and got consistent head shots on the silhouette paper target. It is nice to have the sighting option.

    Taurus 709 slim opinions?

Disclaimer: I don't own a Taurus 709 slim. Although I did pick one up at the LGS/indoor range where I have a membership and dry fire it, and it fits my hand. The folks at the Taurus Armed forum did a poll on the 709 "How has your 709 worked" recently (last post June 2011) 243 folks voted...

    Noticed less Hipoint hate/bashing

I don't own one. I have heard from people who own one that they work. They go bang, and the bullet ends up near where you aim. I think everyone who can legally own a handgun should own one. Right to keep and bear arms. An armed society is a polite society. I would rather see someone owning a Hi...

    Federal Ammo From Wal Mart

Federal Champion 9mm from Walmart feeds fine in my XD9, and I've shot boxes of it without any issues. Also have had good results with the Remington 9mm ammo they stock from time to time. Sorry to hear about your problem with Federal bulk 22 rimfire from Walmart. It is reliable in my Ruger...
