That's what I did to mine. Worked great. I can still see them but the horn is now usable.

I just use a Bore mop. Pull the nipple and use a pipe cleaner. Works great.

Dang,that looks like my old bike that I rode in the late '50's & early '60"s. It was setup for hill climbing and boy would it go! Wahoo! Great memories. Still ride my '02 Heritage.

I have an older (1995) 1860 Army Pietta that someone bored the cylinders out to large.One is .4650" Question is: Will a newer Pietta cylinder fit OK? Or do I need one from an older Pietta? Thanks, lv2tinker

I am trying to work with Cimarron to get them to take it back for warrenty repair. So far it has been VERRRY fustrating.

I used a wooden dowl rod the exact size of the bore. It stops when it hits the front of the cyl.
