I bent the catch so now the fit is tighter but now when I load the mag the bolt won't push the first round into the chamber. The first round is stuck :(

I took my new Mosin out and the mag holds the rounds in fine when not firing, but the recoil opens the mag catch on the baseplate. Nothing looks like it is out of sorts. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve
