Picked up a beretta 9000s-f 300.00 nib today on the spur of the moment deal.I liked the feel of the gun alittle fat, slide a little getting used to.anyone have any issues good or bad with this ? good deal? bad deal? indifferant?
well the main reason to get my own loading system is that our marriage has gone south.
anyhow i appreciate the advice guys i like both progressive and turret just have to decide.
Ive been using father in laws reloading press and have to decided to buy my own. Im reloading handguns 357 45 44.I would like imput on wich press you guys like. I would like to get a setup where I could load up 100-200 rounds in 2 or 3 hours. 300-400 dollar range. thanks
well its a done deal im a proud owner of kc.went out and put 48 rounds through her pipe with out a hiccup.smooth butter like smooth.thanks for the inputs.I still am planning on a s&w in the futher, but need to rebuild some funds.by the way he came down to 580,because he liked me,kinda scarey.
thanks for your input, Im really leaning towards the kc. mainly because of the fact that the value of the kc will progressivly increase.also the sw seems to be a more readaly available.Ill tell you what guillermo,Ill buy both and sell you the kc for 800. just kidding im not looking for a divorce...
it has the original rubber grips.been to 5 or 6 gun shows here in ohio all these revolvers are priced between 550-780. I guess its what the market can bear here.
got a chance to buy a S&W 686 ss 4inch or a colt king 4inch,both are 600 each.both are in near perfect condition except the colt has a slight scratch on side plate. Both lock up tight, trigger on the colt to me feels a little smoother.Yes i know what ever feels better in my hand but other opinions...
looking at the xd 45 tactical or the smith m&p 45 full size. havent totally commited yet. pros, cons? help me out. I know, what ever feels better in my hand. any comments would be appreciated
looking to sell xdm40 and buy a 45.I already have a kimber 1911. So im looking at possibly the m&p 45 full size. I would like to stay under the 700.00 range. whats your thoughts on the M&P.
point well made and point well taken Test your loads before commiting to larger quantities. hopefully its not 40 too many if so,i learned something thanks P.S. unique 6gr.
thanks for the info, usually if I am not too sure Id rather ask than find out when its too late.I went ahead and loaded 50 rds I'll take them and see what happens.
Im reloading 45 acp 200gr cmj fp I have not been able to find any large pistol primers in the state of ohio.I did find 1 box large mag primers.can I use the mag primer if I start out with a lighter load of unique?maybe a stupid question but I am pretty new to reloading. Thanks
thanks for the info, looking at the design of the frame and cylinder I thought that was the way its meant to be.wasnt sure,so i asked. Thanks again, Ill be able to sleep better tonite
Joebitzky
I bought a 686 4inch at a gun show,I thought i inspected it pretty good but obviosly I missed it. When the cylinder is open and the barrel is pointed upward (no im not shooting birds),the cylinder drags on the frame. doesnot appear to having any drag marks on cylinder or frame. Is this something...
yes according to website and the mags themselves it should accept 8 rounds
it really must be the mags not having enough upward force to engage the lug.guess i'll buy a new mag. weird that both mags would fail.
