I'm looking for some firing range barricade patterns.
Anything that I can build for our LE range and be able to utilize when necessary.
I've seen some in the past now that I want to put some time and effort in I can't find any... always the way it goes.
If you have any or know of any sites I...
Wow... apparently Glavatron... or whatever your little screen name is, has issues with the pics.
They are certainly real my little friend.
If you bother to read my post, you'll find I never stated the round was loaded backwards. I was there... it did happen... a shooter with a serious limp...
Well here's a new one I thought I'd share with you.
I'm an LE Firearms Instructor and occasionally we come across some flat out interesting stuff.
This one, an officer that has a limp wristing issue. Apparently the slide cought a round and chambered it backwards... WOW! Talk about a GAG...
Glock will refer to this as a Generation 3.5. It has been discontinued for a couple of reasons. However it's nothing tragic, I personally prefer this frame texture over the new Gen 4.
The RTF was designed as a test case for law enforcement. It came back to be too rough for daily carry...
This is Series 70 Colt Reproduction, custom build.
Recently I took it apart for some cleaning, I have approximately 1800 rounds through it at this point.
The Cocking lug is showing some signs of wear in odd pattern.
The Kart barrel is showing the same.
Ideas??? Clearly not normal wear. I...
There's clearly some problems with your "Safe Action" theory.
First... all 1911's should be carried cocked and locked. Condition 1! Hooo Aaaah!
Second.... why in the name of all that is mighty would you even think that dropping the hammer on a live round would be safe and/or practical...
Just an FYI on your G-Lock love.
I work for a state department, we have Glock 22's and are losing 1-2 frames and slides on every qualification week.
G-Lock does work for it's intended purpose. They are for the most part combat reliable. They are... well... plastic.
I prefer and carry... Colt.
You know what's interesting is I can visualize people looking at this weapon shrugging thier shoulders and saying to themselves... eh... no rails, no two tone no frills... what's next.
But I'm ok with that... because behind the grin I wear on my face everytime I pull the trigger, is the...
"I am also relieved to see this pleonastic "extreme combat" silliness wasn't rollstamped on the slide. Whew!
We all know if the words "extreme" and "combat" are both to be stamped onto a firearm, the words "Special Forces", "Spec Ops" or "Ninja" must accompany it. "
LOL No offense taken...
Good afternoon all...
I've spoken of this project before, much earlier this year. I'm pleased to report it's finally complete. For the last 9 months it's been a slow going process and is finally done.
Last January I ordered a New Moldel O Government Series 70 .45 ACP 5" Blue from Colt.
Here...
There is very much an active movement forward in the wold of Martial Arts in regards to firearms.
Take some time to look it up... Hojutsu Ryu. Founded by Soke Jeff Hall, whom I've had the opportunity to study under for a short time. Locally we are lucky in the respect that Doug Tangen and...
Hmmm I wonder if Milt will attach another holster order to my already waiting 600.00 order LOL.
I'll stop by there tomorrow and chat with the boys.

A couple of quick questions, I have recently acquired a beautiful S&W 586 4" for which I need a holster. Lobo Leather is looking pretty good...
I have a couple from Milt Sparks for my 1911's that I instruct in quite regularly and get many comments on... GREAT STUFF!
Also... I was looking...
Can someone please give me an answer on a production date???
586 4"

I'd really appreciate it.
The information I've come across at this point states 1980...
Thank you
