I love my K9 and sometimes carry it as a back up to my Glock. I also occasionally carry it for work. I love the two tone look.

Even if Texas ever becomes an open carry state, I still plan on keeping mine concealed. For me personally, there is no reason to let anyone know you're carrying until there is a really good reason. On the flip side, my job requires open carry, but this post is about preference.

For me it is enough to have 2000 rounds for each caliber - 9mm to .45ACP. 5000 should be enough of .22 for the one gun I have in that caliber. I rarely shoot .223, so 1000 for that. 500 of 12ga as well.

It's ironic that this is called a NY reload when it seems that NY is not much in favor of concealed carry. That's part of the reason I moved from NY to Texas. I carry two Glock 19s in a double shoulder rig.

I use a shoulder holster, soon to be a double rig shoulder holster. I don't have to worry about off body carry or the possibility of a passerby seeing me reholstering a gun from out of the console. We never want to scare the sheeple with our warmongering weapons of death and destruction.

I've been hit at the indoor pistol range. It left a dime sized mark on my throat, and reinforced the need for shooting glasses. I couldn't tell who shot the round in question (the range was full), or what caliber it was, I was just glad it didn't do more than leave a mark.

I got my deceased father's .44 magnum Ruger Super Blackhawk when I moved to Texas in 2003. New York State gun laws suck compared to Texas. Now I am another 15 firearms richer since I moved here.

I'm a lefty that usually has to special order my holsters. Only gotten lucky twice on leather. I'm currently waiting 4-6 weeks on a left handed belt holster for the Kahr T9 from Kirkpatrick Leather. Nothing in stock anywhere I can find, including Fobus.

The employees can sign out their company weapons to practice or qualify, but the only time I see company weapons signed out is to go qualify every two years. The company only gives employees 100 rounds per year to practice with, so it does not seem like the company cares whether the employees...
