who here has a sig P239?

I have one in .40 that I carry in an AKJ Concealco holster. I actually just requalified and shot the P239 better than my duty pistol. Some guns just agree with me.

Brady Bunch Jerks sue Interior Dept over concealed guns in National Parks

"Dangerous?" Should I be insulted or flattered?

How would you interpret this clause in my lease?

"in a way that may threaten others" Sounds like there shouldn't be a problem as long as you are a responsible gun owner. Besides, if no one sees it, it can't be an issue at all. I'm sure some of my neighbors would be a little squeamish if they knew I had a safe full of evil looking guns...

    Guns in The Dark Knight

It was not an EOTech. It was a Trijicon reflex, and it was mounted correctly.

    Guns in The Dark Knight

Depends on your version of Batman. In the original Bob Kane comics, he killed bad guys all the time. It was sort of his thing.

RC Helicopter + 1911 remote defense?

How about one that needs no human input whatsoever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hoezbl2MsMI&feature=channel_page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JvxnrzB1Jk

My Mayor has an online poll - the questions are tilted to get the answers he wants.

I agree that the whole page is geared towards making the thought of gun ownership look ridiculous. The fact that the mayor is getting his butt kicked is delicious irony. By the way, how could someone this juvenile get elected? I expect politicians to handle these kinds of issues with more...

    100yd .22LR shoot + ammo tests (pics/outcome)

Strange, but all the problems I have ever had with .22lr have been with Remington ammo. Wolf seems to be reliable in any caliber.

Questions for shooters with Lasik or PRK

I did it back in February. I went from being blind as a bat to having 20/15 vision and the recovery period was very short. I still have some halos around light sources at night but the doctor says it is mainly because of my large pupils. Either way it is no worse than the distortion I used to...

Careful... Chuck Norris heard you say that.

so, i was at the range and saw...

Probably a good way to encourage good trigger control. Consequences of dropping a shot low and to the left are more severe.

Why are you a gun owner?

Because I want to be. That is the only explanation required.

Speaking of Terrorists...[File under "crime does pay"?]

Sounds like it would encourage people to leave their ranks and give up valuable information, assisting local law enforcement in interdicting FARC operations and sowing dissent and uncertainty within. Not bad in and of itself. Nothing else seems to be working.

The single guiding principle to armed conflict.

How you would confuse a SAW with a grenade launcher is beyond me, and further calls into question your expertise. For the record, even an RPK has sights regulated to 800m, and is effective well beyond the ranges you claim. But of course, something tells me you have never played with one...

Own an AR15 or AK? This guy thinks you shouldn't

He'll wish he had those "Rambo guns" when the Zombiepocalypse happens... All joking aside, though, the author's implication is downright insulting. I chose the rifles that I own because, having learned to shoot in the Marines, I am simply used to a certain style of firearm. I also have a...

The single guiding principle to armed conflict.

What expertise do you claim, exactly? The maximum effective range of an M240G medium machinegun is 1800 meters and it is not difficult to use at that range. Air strikes and artillery can hit as close as you have the guts to get them. Attack helicopters can hit targets across the street from...
