Need Feedback On RCBS Trim Mate

Hey Tom, that tool is cool. I watched it in action on a youtube video, but it doesn't clean the primer pockets, and that means a seperate operation. Thanks Glenn

Need Feedback On RCBS Trim Mate

I would like to hear what anyone has to say about the rcbs trim mate case prep center. It says it cleans and deburs primer pockets, removes military primer crimps, and reshapes the primer pockets. I have always done my primer pockets and military crimps by hand, but I have come into some...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

You know, the one with the most toys wins. There sure are a lot of nice reloading rooms on this thread. Glenn

Ideal weapons for college students, in class.

Get some pepper spray. Try to get the stuff the cops carry if you know someone. It is more potent, and works great, and it is usually legal depending on the state. I carry it all the time even though I have a handgun. I would rather spray them, then shoot them. Less Paperwork. Glenn

Lead costs are dropping, when do we see results?

I just read an article yesterday, that the reason the price of lead has gone so high, is because the chinese are buying all they can get. If you research it on the internet you should find the article. Glenn

    Well here's a first

I've can not remember ever getting a bad primer in many years of reloading pistol, rifle, and shotgun loads. It looks like that one missed the explosive part. Glenn

    .44spl 185gr LTC load ?

I load a lot of 44 mag and special with 230 grain swc cast bullets, and always use 4.0 grains of bullseye, which is a light load. 3.0 is minimum, and 5.3 is max. I use them for target shooting only. In the 45th edition of the lyman reloading handbook there is a load for a 180 grain cast...

Hard to get brass into resizing die

I have bought items from midway and other sites, but I have gotten a lot of great deals on ebay. These dies I bought and had a problem with were being sold by someone who was liquidating a deceased relatives assets, and knew nothing about the item. I hate to admit it, but I have been...

Hard to get brass into resizing die

He Joe, and everyone else who replied, I think I have come to the conclusion after getting everyone's help, that the dies I just bought are not carbide. The lyman dies I bought years ago that work great came in a hard plastic orange box, and say 44 spl mag tc on the sizing die. The new lyman...

Hard to get brass into resizing die

Ok from what you people are saying I think both sets may be carbide. Both sets are lyman dies. I just rechecked the first set I have had for years that works great. It has a thin polished ring about 1/4 inch inside the bottom of the die. It also has the letters TC on the resizing die. Would that...

    Mr. Clean for 44SPL

I have been using 2400 recently and it is very clean. I was using bullseye which is economical since you can load a mag with 4 or 5 grains for a nice target load, but it is really dirty, and hard to get your gun clean. Glenn

Hard to get brass into resizing die

I have been reloading for years with the same dies I bought back in the early eighties. I don't think any of them are carbide. When reloading pistol I never lube the cases, and they go into the resizing die with no problem. I recently bought another set of 44 mag dies on ebay that were never...
