    Trimming .223

I too use a Giraud and nothing beats it. To help defray the cost, consider going in with partners. I know of two separate members who have done just that and have been able to purchase the Giraud for half or less than full price. Something to consider.

Sound off if you carry a Glock

Glock 23C. Use it as primary carry gun. Never have to worry if it will go boom. Have at least 20,000 rounds and probably closer to 30,000 rounds through it, and nary a hicup. If you want rock solid reliability, Glock is the only way to go.

copper jacket remained in barrel in 357 mag

Yes, there is a cannelure on this bullet for the roll crimp. Once it's explained it makes sense. Just hadn't heard of this before. These are semi jacketed bullets, so will be sure to double check all loads in future as pointed out by 7.62 Nato. Just goes to show that you can never be to...

Did You Ever Do Something Stupid, like......

The old leave the gun at the range trick. Get home and discover a gun is missing. Then having to sweat it out while someone checks to insure it is still there and having to sheepishly retrieve it.

one in the chamber and full mag?

One in the chamber and full mag always, always, always. Extra round goes in pocket when clearing. It could be tragic if you ever needed that extra round and didn't have it, but could have.

    Glock Frankenstein idea...

Being a long time Glock 23c user, I can't understand the need for the longer barrell. For me and others I know who use the G23, accuracy has never been a problem out to 25 yards. It's perfect for cc and range shooting, even steel plate. Just my humble opinion.

    Loading .40 s&w

I have a glock 23c that easily has 20,000 rounds through it, with 10,000 of those being reloads, both commercial and my own. Never a hicup. Only shoot my own reloads right now. All the reloads have been with jacketed bullets, either from Rose or Montana Gold. As stated earlier, use...

    Need Better Powder-Through-Expander Than Lee

Lee will replace the piece for free. My brother had the same problem a few weeks ago, called Lee and a new piece was in the mail the same day. I know it doesn't fix the problem of the piece wearing, but at least it can be fix for free.
