I have a couple of Kimber Ultras. I recently got a CDP Ultra 9mm. I had problems with it feeding correctly during the first 100-200 rounds. After I took it home and cleaned it, it ran flawlessly after that. Kimber has tight tolerances and needs a break in. I love them.

The CZ P-01 was the first handgun I ever owned. It is a great pistol. One of the most accurate that I own. I would say to never carry the gun cocked, always carry at half cock. There is no safety, just the DA pull.

I am about to buy a Galco Instructors Belt, and they have reinforced vs non-reinforced. For IWB carry (which is what I do 95% of the time), would non-reinforced be sufficient or should you always opt for the reinforced? Thanks for any advice.

My CCW holds 7+1. I do not carry extra ammo. I figure the gun is enough to keep up with weight wise. I go the rule that most gunfights only consist of 3 shots. If I were going to an area that I really thought was shady, I might grab an extra mag.

Actually, it is not an allen wrench. If you look closely, it is smooth on all sides. Just a small piece of wire.

I have a couple of Kimbers, a 3" and a 4". It took me a few times to get the hang of breaking it down with that little tool, but now, I break down the guns almost as fast as any others. Just takes some practice, then it becomes easy. Good to hear about the customer service.....

Our Bass Pro had one left tin stock today. I almost bought it just because they have been hard to find. I have a little Kahr PM9, so I couldn't justify buying the Ruger, even though it is a little smaller.......

Ours has mostly Glock, S&W, many many Taruses, some Sigs, and Rugers, FN and others. I actually saw a Ruger LCP there today for $299. Almost snatched it up, but just couldn;t talk myself into it.

I love Kimber. I have two, an Ultra Carry II in .45 and a Pro Aegis II in 9mm. They have been reliable so far. I think they make some great stuff.
