I havebkudu,enlan and 4okapis and theyre pretty good knives.They all have to be reprofiled and ground on belt sander first when new from factory.After you do that you can touch it up easily on any stone.They all come with thick crappy grind but if you have belt sander or power grinder its easy.

Ganzos are excellent for money and with good locks and steel.I prefer cold steel,but definetly for money you cant beat ganzo,are inexpensive,good steel and good locks all for 10-20$

Rat 5 is good knife lol but no combo edge!you can buy 2-3moras for ontario rat.

Mora and hatchet or machete !ratwhatever especially combo edge is crap compared to Mora 2000.

Buy Mora 2000 in 12c27 its excellent for price and plenty strong for any bushcraft or whatever tasks!,

opinel paring knives are very good too! they have ones in carbon and inox steel,both are good.

I use hatchet or axe for chopping,and thin blades for slicing,as they slice best and are also easier to sharpen to razor edge.

Buy stainless,wont be dissapointed,I have both and stainless performs little better.Theyre both good knives!Stainless takes and holds toothy edge better than carbon and its perfect for cutting soft materials like meat,rope,etc!

12c27 mod in Opinels is better than their carbon steel,easy to sharpen and hold edge better ,and doesnt rust.Old stainless that opinel used wasnt this good,but newer models with 12c27mod marked INOX are excellent!
