The first thing to replace is the new shotgun smell, and the action bars should be upgraded from factory finished to well worn.
A thousand rounds or so should do it.
Other than that, I like to have a follower I can see clearly to be certain the gun is empty. Bright green does it for me.
A stage is the entire course of fire and may consist of one or more "strings".
For example:
String 1: Starting at position P1 with gun holstered, at the signal, draw and engage targets T1-T3 strong hand only two shots each to the body.
String 2: Starting at position P1 with gun in weak hand...
I shoot an M&P Pro 9mm with a Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight, APEX aftermarket trigger parts, from a Blade Tech DOH Holster (DO part removed). It's about as fancy as you can get and still be shooting in SSP.
I've also shot with a compact Glock 19 from a homemade IWB holster with a...
Mid-Carolina is great, but I believe the wait list is still full / offline. You can shoot matches as a non-member though.
If you plan more than a few trips a year, I'd suggest looking at the Palmetto State Armory annual range pass.
Residency is an interesting thing, I suspect the clock started ticking when you arrived in the state with the intent to make a home there.

I don't think there's much point in discussing the tactics of the SWAT team, much less the policies that guide their usage.
There may be a discussion on whether we as citizens, and especially armed citizens, can prepare for such an event?
Re: "It's a light spring"
Read the thread and the hundreds like it. It's been done with a stock spring, stock gun, no tricks.
If you're of the brave type, try it with your gun, but instead of stopping your arm yourself, slam the distal end of your tricep into a wall behind you. I've...
Never lie. Never hide things. Assuming you're going to make mortgage this month and won't starve, a relationship will survive $600. It won't survive deceit.
Shortly you'll see various takes off "divorce her and buy all the guns you want" or "I'd never let any woman tell me what to do"...

With all the negative police actions and behaviors we often see discussed related to carrying a gun, it's a good reminder that there are good ones out there.
If you really want to do it, I'd cast some bullets and keep with a display piece on the mantel. Your favorite single action revolver or lever action rifle maybe.
Heck, get the guns engraved and use some of the gold as inlays.
So you never shoot reloaded ammo or cheapo surplus ammo?
You never carry it in the ready to fire condition?
You never store or carry the gun loaded?
Because the manual posted on page 1 says that you mustn't do any of those things.
Unlike the unjacketed thing, which is only a recommendation.
No reason not to. I shot thousands of lead bullets through my Glock and never had a hint of leading or problems. A quick run through with a bore snake at the end of the match and it was like new again.
I only switched away from lead after I had my blood drawn and had elevated...

I'd suggest checking with the current owner if you want to publish any of the materials and get...
