Well I decided to paint my sights today/tonight/just now. I was getting tired of the plain white and they are also hard to see at the indoor range and when it is dusk/dawn. So I went into Gander Mountain and picked up the paint. It is Lure and Jig Vinyl Paint. I believe I paid $3.99 per 1 oz...
thanks,
I was just worried they stopped making this combo. Seeing as I would like to use it for HD primarily and then I have the longer barrel for if i ever go hunting.
I have ordered some doubletap +P 124gr speer JHP's. I will let you know when I get them in how they feed.
On another note I fired 50 rounds of WWB 147gr JHP's through the gun when I first got it and it ate them just fine.
Well I did some digging at work(Cat Dealer) and found that our "Desert Gold" grease is very tacky and is made for high-speed, high-temp conditions. Plus it is only $7.24 for a 14oz Cartidge! We will have to see if this stuff will work or not....
I have been trying to decide what Size to go with for me PF-9.
I was always told go with the light bullet because the slower speed of the heavier bullet would not allow it to expand.
I have no problem hitting in the 9 ring out to 15 yrds with mine. Mine is the newer model as well.
Most negative comments are talking about the older model. The trigger is on the heavy side, but not any worse then a DAO revolver.
Comparing a $300 gun to one that is at least $200-$300 more for the base Kahr...
I have not had any problems out of mine, but I have only ran ~200 rounds through mine so far(got it 2 weeks ago).
I thought the 147gr's suffered most b/c the smaller barrel could not get them to a high enough speed to properly expand...
Oh and what all you got done to that subbie? I have a SRT-4 with exhaust, WGA, and larger intercooler. Best I have ran is a 8.3 at 88mph with 2.02 60'(only have 1/8 mile...
Straight from my manual:
I will be using this a a defensive round, so it will only have about 75 rounds ran through it and then maybe 1 mag a month just to be sure nothing changes. I shoot 115gr WWB for target shooting.
Why don't people also put down when they bought their Kel-Tec. I have a new PF-9 and have had zero issues out of it. Even feeds the cheap WWB JHP's just fine.
