    Canik 55 TP9 V2- Quick review

Okay, I know...a "knockoff". Well, here's the truth. I've owned dozens of handguns over the years, from Maks to Colt Mark IV's and numerous ones in between. Right now I've got several Glocks, several Rugers, several CZ's, a couple of Maks, several Smiths....an so forth. I went out on a limb and...

    Ruger LC9- Review

First of all, I'm a CZ guy through and through although my dept makes me carry Glocks. So that's my frame-of-reference from the git-go. I decided that I'd like to get something for "deeper" CC that was small, light, reliable, didn't print... but did the job. I had a G26, Mak and Czech82 to...

    Saiga Barrel Threading

What would seem to be a simple question seems to be more difficult than I thought. Been to Saiga12 forum and they dance around the question with other ideas... Simply put: can a Saiga .233 barrel be threaded to the standard 1/14 LH without removing the FSB or any other parts by a reasonably...

Mak convert added to the ranks

I took a friend out today, a die-hard large frame guy and had him shoot my Bulgarian Mak. He'd never fired a 9x18 and had his reservations. 200 rounds later chasing 2-liter pop bottles all over the side of a hill at 50' or so he handed it to me and said "I guess I should take this home and...

    Old Bali-Song by Benchmade question

In around 1982 my girlfriend ordered me a custom made Bali-Song from Benchmade (I believe). It's a Weehawk style blade, brass fittings and whiteish inserts in the handle. I've had it stored away for the last 20 years after almost cutting of a digit with it. Any ideas where I can get some info...

    Bulgarian Makarov- quick review

I know that dozens of you have posted your thoughts on the Bulgarian Makarov, but after taking my new purchase out this weekend, I had to chime in. First of all, I love my CZ 82's, all three of them. They have never failed to feed, fire or eject using any type of ammo. I'd trust my life to any...

    Help with a .22 rifle

My war with the skunks has reached a peak. Discovering one coming through the doggy-door two nights ago has escalated the conflict. All other options have been tried and failed. So... Anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive, bolt-action, long barrelled .22 that would diminish the sound...

    Bug. Mak for CCW

As the very happy owner of a Czech 82, I was wondering what the consensus was as far as getting a Bulgarian Makarov for CCW. I love my Czech 82, but it's too heavy and thick for comfortable IWB carry. The P-64 looks good, but the supply seems to have dried-up. Is the Bul. Mak similar in size and...

REcoil pad for Tapco Intrafuse AK folder

Has anyone found a recoilpad that fits the Tapco Intrafuse AK folder stock without major modification? I need a little more length.... Thanks

Pardner Pump Protector Failure to feed issue

Odd situation with my PPP. About every 5th round or so, the shell will not feed into the chamber. I have to pull the forestock back about half way, depress the spring and let the round release from the mag tube and then chamber the next round. Any ideas?

    HD Shotgun on a budget-Success

First of all the criteria: Reliable, moderate shell capacity, ease of use. Second-price: keep the basic unit under $250, flashlight optional I decided after reading a lot of posts here and elsewhere to go with the Pardner Pump Protector. From all I could find, it fulfilled the top three...

TacStar Sidesaddle and the Pardner Protector

Has anyone installed the TacStar Sidesaddle offered through Cabela's on a Pardner Pump Protector? No hassle install? How about the BeamShot universal barrel mount (for a flashlight)? I'm heading to Cabela's this evening and would like to know if I need to take some extra $'s.... Thanks

ATI Shotforce on a Pardner PP

Has anyone installed one of the Shotforce "AR-15" style collapsing stocks on a Pardner Pump Protector? Was it stable? Fit without any issues? How about the accompanying shell holder? I like the OEM stock, but would like to make the SG a little more compact without losing stablity. Thanks in...

Pardner Protector Question by new owner

Two Quick questions for PPP owners. The end of the magazine spring closest to the receiver has an orange plastic cap rather than the traditional metal cap. Is that cap simply covering a metal one underneath or is the plastic the end product? The clerk at the store where I purchased it also said...

    SSI Defender laser/light combo

While putzing around Dick's I saw this laser/flashlight combo for shotguns. Anyone used one or heard any feedback? It was $39.00 For an inexpensive but useful HD set-up whaddaya think?

    Pardner Pump Protector- protecting finish

I just picked a PPP up last night and recall reading somewhere in this forum that it's a good idea to coat the metal surfaces with oil of some sort. I can't recall what was the best to coat it with and for how long. First impression of the weapon is that if you run out of rounds, it'll make a...

    Cz 82

I was able to get out and so some shooting yesterday. I took along my CZ 82 along with several other firearms. I'd forgotten how great that little pistol is. For those that have not fired one, try it. For under $200, they have to be the best value on the market. Reliable, accurate, hi-cap...

    Saigas from RAA already converted?

I discussed with a local dealer about a Saiga S12 they are offering with a Tapco G2 trigger, Saiga stock, Pistol grip and 10 round SureFire Mag. I asked who did the conversion and they said they were getting them from Russian American Arms directly in that configuration. Anyone heard of this...

    Saiga 12 'converted" at J&G for $899.00

I know the price is coming down on the Saiga 12's, but with the Tapco G2 FCG, Tapco stock and PG and a 10 rnd Surfire is this anywhere close to a reasonable deal? I don't have a vice set-up and only have an old Makita screwdriver and would hate to screw things up. Yeah, I know, i'm a...

POSP Scope mount on a Saiga- question

I have a POSP 6x24 V from East Wave that just arrived for my Saiga 308. It slides on from the rear of the rifle just fine. The locking clamp is the problem. It looks like it's supposed to clamp "under" something, but there's nothing there on the rail. It just sort of swings alittle each way...
