Going back to a turret after a few months of progressive

I have my Sic Pack and my Classic turret mounted on those great Inline Fabrication plates. Makes swapping very simple on my tiny reloading bench. My plan has always been to load the smaller quantities of various calibers on the turret.

Lee pro 6000, has anyone used them successfully without mods?

I did use the PEX tubing segment mod for the case collator bin when loading 9mm. I do still get the occasional upside down case but not near as frequently without the mod.

    A HOW TO QUESTION??

I used the old hammer thing for a long while - bought the phenomenal RCBS collet bullet puller die and have not looked back. Some of the best $$ I've spent on reloading gear.

Lee pro 6000, has anyone used them successfully without mods?

Still in the process of fine tuning my new (got it a month ago) Six Pack in 9mm. After some 15 years of quite happily using their great Classic Turret I decided to enter the wild & wacky world of watching, hearing and feeling 6 different and interactive things happening at once on a progressive...

"Best Practices" checklist for more reliable operation of Six Pack Pro/Pro 6000 kit

After some 15 years running my trusty Lee Classic turret I decided to blindly jump in with both feet and get the Lee Six Pack Pro. Does my shooting volume warrant a progressive? Nope, I just wanted a new toy and a new challenge. This forum's advice and this post's "Best Practices" have been...

Lee Auto Drum Help Needed Please

Glad I could help. Like most troubleshooting situations, it ends up being something simple. I've no doubt the great folks at Lee customer service will get you the needed part quickly.

Lee Auto Drum Help Needed Please

Not being a smart-a$$ - but it DID happen to me..... so I know that it 'can' happen. When I was assembling everything on my new Six Pack Pro I neglected to install the internal tube in the riser. It is what the tube coming out the bottom of the powder dispenser contacts to actuate the lever. So...

New Lee inline bullet feeder/rotary magazine for SPP/Pro 6000 - Beta testing

I held off completing my Six Pack Pro setup and use till the bullet feeder was in hand. IMHO the new inline feeder kit -9mm- works very well. MY problem was none of my rounds plunked into my Wilson gauge. Last night I solved through trial and error (it finally dawned on my aging brain) that the...

For fellow Garand Owners and shooters

I just heard back from Jim and the EZLoader is ready. "I've finished with the inserter and finalized the name as "Garand EZloader". There are two versions as you are aware. The Garand EZloader I which will load Enblocs with the top round on the right and the Garand EZloader II which is...

What clever little things have you "invented or discovered" that you can share?

I 'discovered' two terrific tools for working with the new Lee Spline Breech Lock bushings that have the 3/32" hex screw. Both are available on Amazon and some hardware stores. The first is a 1/2" lock nut wrench, the second an easy-to-hold and use 3/32 hex head screwdriver. Affordably priced...

Lee Pro 6000 unboxing and testing for OAL consistency

I use and very much like the new Lee Spline Drive Breech Lock Bushings. The small 3/32 allen head screw works great to lock the die position in the bushing once you set it. What is less than ideal is how many times I end up dropping that dinky little allen wrench onto my reloading room floor. MY...

    Reloading questions for a newb

I upgraded from a :Lee Classic Turret to my new Lee Six Pack progressive, their upgrade/replacement for the Loadmaster. You might want to check it out. It's IMHO is a better deal for similar $$. Lots of YouTube vids and a GREAT tutorial on THIS forum about it. Also called the Lee Pro 6000.

    Lee 6000 press

I'm a fan of Inline Fabrication products and use their Quick Mount plates for my Lee presses. Just wanted to share a pic of my LED strip lights on my Six Pack. As I use a single strip on my Classic Turret I already had the male power plug available on my bench and went with their 'Y' connector...

Lee Pro 6000 unboxing and testing for OAL consistency

THANKS A MILLION!!! It took me a little while to find the tutorial but I now have it in hand. Doesn't appear all that complicated. A lot easier than the full disassembly/reassembly of my Garand -lol

Lee Pro 6000 unboxing and testing for OAL consistency

So, help an old geezer out. Took delivery of my Six pack last week 2/14/2 and it still has the old pin causing some jamming issues. I have reached out to Lee for the new version, but how do I replace it? Dare I assume that the two Phillips head screws under the carrier and the one screw at the...

    Lee 6000 press

Just unboxed my Six Pack a couple days ago, so I'm not even up to newbie levels with it yet, but have been reloading on their Classic turret since 2008. At 74 arthritis is not a friend to my finger strength tightening those breech lock bushings. A guy I watched on YouTube recommended a lock nut...

    M-1 carbine…. Did I miss the boat?

At 74 I reckon I've been in the shooting sports for over 60 years. I calmed my true yearnings for an M1 carbine with a Ruger 10/22 in walnut and a HiPoint 9mm carbine (don't laugh, it is a great little gun). After retirement I came to understand that the "Golden Years" are mostly rust and urine...

For fellow Garand Owners and shooters

I don't fret over Garand Thumb - I accept the reality of the limitations on thumb strength that my arthritis and age present. This device allow me to use my entire hand and arm strength making loading the enbloc a breeze. Any Garand Thumb prevention is simply a secondary benefit. Fortunately...

IMR 4895 and the Lee Auto Drum or Auto Disk?

I do not disagree. I have both powder dispensers. The drum is much easier to change out so I'll try that one first. I just picked up the new Lee Six Pack progressive and will be loading my 9mm and 45ACP on that. Leaving my Classic turret for .223, 30-06 and my other handgun calibers.... at least...

For fellow Garand Owners and shooters

Rejoice all ye, like me, of aged, weak or tired thumbs! In truth Rejoice ALL Garand shooters! I reached out to Jim at [email protected] who created the terrific 3-D printed enbloc loader device and described in general terms what I was seeking to insert a loaded enbloc into the rifle...
