Remember: Blanks Can Kill [1]
I wouldn't have handed blanks to someone for this. No way. No how. Let 'em buy there own where I don't get named in a lawsuit.

Imagine this: A rifle that shoots racecars across the floor. I was a child of the 70's and this was my absolute favorite "toy gun" as a child:

No can do for me. If I focus on the sights, I have 2 targets (seeing double). If I focus on the target, I see 4 sites (2 x front, 2 x rear).
How the heck does anyone get past that?
Am I weird or does everyone have this doubling when using both eyes?
The "Mark 19":
Mk19 - fully automatic, belt fed, 40mm grenade launcher. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mk_19_grenade_launcher
Fire one of these beauties just once and you'll never go back to a mere pistol/rifle/machine gun.
The only good statistic I'm looking for to counter this is answered by this question: How many innocent citizens were killed and injured by a LEO with a gun.
I'm quite sure that those who are paid and trained to use a gun, those who are so-called "professionals", those who most citizens...
==> I love the graphic on the back "1) open can" "2) receive bacon".
Most of us in the US have seen this graphic before:

==> So sig2009, you have never taken Econ 101 have you?
So you've never lived in the US have you? Or you've been living with your head in the sand?

Here's your first clue: WE DON'T LIVE IN A FREE MARKET.
As evidenced by the original post, the DDTC is...
While I have plenty of food for mine, they're on a severely restricted diet. I can't find anything. Nothing at all. .45? Nope. 9mm? Nope. .32 Nope. .40? None. .38/.357? All gone.
The only thing I've been feeding lately are the .22 pistols and a couple of shotguns. Still (for now) available...
==> lots of guys wouldn't shoot at the 4 300 yard pop ups cause that would leave them second shots for the other 36 targets so they could have a better chance at qualifying as an expert
Our popups (ca. 1987 (ish)) were green. The same green as the field grass and the woodline behind the...
A gun is *always* loaded ... even when it's not.
I don't care if you just checked it.
I don't care if you just re-cheked it.
It's not "treated" ... "as if" ... or "like" it's loaded. It **IS** loaded. Period. End. Of. Story.

Too many stories along the lines of " I ... I...
==> Freedom to hold a contrary opinion is fundamental to our American way of life.
Freedom to hold a contrary opinion is one thing. Enacting laws -- laws *contrary* and *in violation of* the very document, the US Constitution, that grants them the powers to enact said law, even after swearing...
Things I couldn't live without when I was in the field:
One can never have/store/bring enough pogey bait. (Do they still even use that term? I got out in the 1980's and have been out of touch for quite a while.)
For me, absolutely essential were some cheap Dr. Scholl's orthotics for arch...
==> Wonder if Buger King is going to pay his medical bills?
==> Depending on where he was shot this guy is going to have medical difficulties the rest of his life. Is BK going to compensate that?
I gotta disagree with that entire line of questioning. Sure, it would be *nice* if BK...
I didn't see an entry for "EVIL black shotgun with a pistol grip, barrel shroud, folding stock and other EVIL, soon-to-be-unauthorized accessories".
I already *had* (for several years, some of 'em decades) everything else on the list that I'm ever gonna buy. Was just missing a SCARY EVIL...
General question: Do I need to ship through a FFL licensee (whatever they're called) if I have to ship a handgun back to the manufacturer for waranty or recall type work on the gun?
Got caught up in the PPK recall from S&W (...
Dad asked me to check on AKs while I was at the range today (it's a gun store and a shooting range). Funny. He's a "cowboy gun" kinda guy -- him asking about an AK is ... well ... it's downright ridiculous. I picked up a cheap Romanian WASR 'bout 2 years back from this place for $350. Tax a few...
==> I just don't know of any other way to prevent this from being a possibility again.
Sure ya do. We all know it. Rule #1: "The gun is *always* loaded ... even when it's not."
We have these rules because ... well ... it's the only way to stay safe. We all know it. You know it too -- ya...
