    I agree with you publiss. I usually carry a .357 and next year plan on using a S&W 1076. Having a chance at a deer at close range with a pistol is a hoot. Not as much fun as with a bow, but still fun. I use the rifle for the far shots, at the ones I can not pass up on.

    I ran out of funds after buying my LCP, and I needed a pocket holster, so I looked around for something to make a holster. Found an extra computer mouse pad. Folded it over the pistol with the rubber bottom side on the outside, so it will grip the inside of a pocket. Super glued the edges...

    Lived in AK for awhile. I carried a .22 when fishing or hiking. It was lighter than a shotgun or big bore pistol. Never had any problems. Just pointed .22 at my head when a bear came close.

    Ruger LCP Recall Response

    Back in January, I responded online to the LCP recall and received the follow up email response. I gave up waiting for Ruger to send me the shipping label/box and decided to call them. Apparently Ruger had a problem with many online request back in January and lost track of those that responded...
