Was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate as to how much one of these would be worth. Its never been fired and is considered in pristine condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated
i shoot a 208 grain hornady AMAX seated out to 2.85 and loaded with 48 grains of IMR 4320 and get about 2720 fps. I figure that would take down about anything if placed in the right spot and within 300 yards.
I shoot the .308 208 grain AMAX bullets out of my R700 5R milspec, and they work great. The muzzle velocity is at 2720 feet per second. I tried the RL 17 but turns out in a side by side test that the IMR 4320 produced a higher velocity. I did have to seat the bullets out past 2.8in (which means...
I have recently been wanting to get a new pistol and have narrowed down my choices to either a variant of the 92fs, glock (17,20,or 34), or a pt1911. Just wanted to here some advice before I made a decision.
Man its the craziest thing it was supposed to be used in dog hunting tests with only blanks but somehow the first 8 or 9 inches of the barrel have deep cuts all the way around about three times as deep as the rifling. I suspect someone shot shot through it but i still don't see how that could do...
I already have an 870 express that has a 3 inch chamber which originally had a rifled barrel, but somehow someone has completely destroyed the inside so I would have to buy a new barrel for around $240. The other option was to get a mossberg slugster for $300 which has a 3.5 inch chamber. Which...
I would recommend a Remington 700 5R milspec. I got one a few years ago and it is more accurate than anything else I've shot. It will be a little over budget seeing as it runs between 900-1000 for the gun and then your glass but it took me a while to get mine fitted out ( about a year)...
Sorry about takin me so long to get back on here but I've been in and out of the hospital for the last week with my dang gall bladder. Yeah but the only thing about the round i shoot is that it is too long to use the floor plate. So you have to load each one individually (like that really...
Well sounds like a good time to use a slingshot to me, or load up some of those Varmint Grenade bullets. Supposedly they completely disintegrate on impact. The video I saw on them showed them shooting like a grape and it completely disintegrated but i can guarantee you judging on the video it...
I've got a 5R milspec. I'll put some pics up tomorrow. I've been shooting at a thousand yards recently up in Tennessee this summer. I got like 6 inch groups but wasn't really around long enough to get my round developed properly. I know the rifle is capable of much better though. But if anyone...
I found an old e-tool in my shed the other day and brought it out. It is I guess from the 70's just the one fold out shovel head. That thing is about the most durable shovel I have ever used. I sanded off all the rust and sharpened it up and talk about a versatile tool I have even been able to...
What i've figured out about the show is they just pick who they want to win and then figure out a way to make it seem like it just happened that way. For example the Saiga shotgun cam into use in the mid 90's and so did the green berets semi auto shotgun the m1014, why did they not let them use...
I know there are those out there that believe that armor is too bulky and that it is unnecessary, but some times there is a need for it. So you look into buying some armor to find out that most military armor is 1 highly expensive and two mostly protects only the vitals. This gets to what I'm...
