Current value of Browning Hi Power new

I kicked around the idea of buying a 1980 version of the HP for a few weeks for 700. My hands don't fit the grip well and hammer bite makes for a bad shooting experience. I looked a little more and settled on a CZ75. In my opinion, Browning would be proud of such a good design.

    Waxing gun magazines

The CZ75 B in my possession lets the mags drop free with no effort required. I don't wax the mags but do keep them lubed with a dry slide to keep rust at bay without attracting goop, dirt, etc. Ounce of prevention you know.

    Nightstand gun

S&W 4506, empty chamber. In the Nightstand above the top drawer suspended on the inside so it's accessable in the dark without being visable. My thinking is this: The universal sound of "get out of my house" (action of chambering a round) is heard offering me the chance to see if a lethal...

Revolver vs Semi-Auto For truck Gun

Given the choices, my recommendation would be to go with wth M&P 40. It's relatively flat (easy to conceal). Can be kept with an unloaded chamber. Reloads are quick with spare magazines. Invest in a storage case (metal lock box) that anchors to the chassis.

Glock 23 or Kel-tec p11 If the laws were a bit more clear I'd carry a 1911 on my hip in plain view.

    Gun Grease(Brian Enos's Slide-Glide)

Looks like a neat lube...but mind the temperature range limitations. Here in the North, would love to be 30degrees F and up.

I've only ever used No 10's on revolvers. (Old Army Ruger). Just my 2 cents.
