I'm not sure that friendster is actually anti-gun. Their photo policy says they also don't allow pets, children, cartoons, artwork, etc. They don't want you to put up symbols you like, gun related or anti-gun, they just want a picture of you.

No, I don't believe he did. I searched for gun, firearm, and weapon at http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/orders/ and the only hits I found were weapons of mass destruction. You could also check the federal register, all laws and executive orders are listed there.
