You should be good. If you take it out of your residence you have to have it in a non-visible location in your vehicle. (Glove box, console, trunk, etc) This DOES NOT include concealed on your person.
No. Don't like them in 9mm. Don't really like anything in .40. Can't see that a .45 is going to change my opinion. They're pretty, but don't really do it for me.
I had a great experience with their CS. 1, maybe 2 rounds from about every 3rd magazine would get lodged lengthwise in the ejection port against the barrel hood. One call to them got an RA number, new ejector and spring, and return postage on the house. I had mentioned that I was thinking...
I'll add another vote for a Kahr P9 or K9. Or you could go for a Commander sized 1911. Though in my experience the Kahrs are more reliable with hp ammo than 1911s.
Don't discount a good .357 magnum either.
THIS!
I went to one the other day with that EXACT question. They guy working there said the "bossman" told him to pull them all off the shelf and not sell any till he can figure out what he needs to price them at. "We don't know what he banned the other day," (Nothing) "so he wants to make sure he...
I've got a newer model Marlin (the cheap one with the birch stock). It's been a great shooter. I'm not saying there aren't lemons out there, just that the new ones aren't ALL lemons.
I like night sights and run Tru Glo TFOs on my G19. I would say your best accessory would be ammunition (if you can find it) and range time. Beyond that, maybe a good holster. If you want one, maybe a light.
I'll second the suggestion on Krav maga. It was developed to be taught quickly to anyone. Obviously, as with anything, the more/longer you practice the more you learn. But you can get pretty proficient pretty quick. It takes a lot from Muay Thai and BJJ, as well as some boxing and wrestling...
I have a 75B that has thousands and thousands of rounds through it. I have yet to come across any particular ammo that does not feed. Like any gun, there are some that are more accurate than others. There have been several times that I have gone a thousand rounds between cleanings. The thing...
I practice Krav Maga and CCW daily, so I may have a little insight here.
Krav is specifically designed be quick and easy to learn. You become proficient quickly, especially in regards to traditional martial arts. It also teaches how to deal with multiple threats.
Is Krav the solution to...
1911- Good ergos, accurate, fun to shoot. Just not the "end all be all" that people make them out to be.
CZ P-01- GREAT GUN, but it didn't work in the role I needed it for. Sold it to pay for another gun that did. I do hope to buy another in the future.
1- Does it effect the way the pistol shoots?
2- Is it fun to shoot?
3- Does it effect the use of the rail?
4- Are you going to use the rail? I personally don't like lights on my pistol or lasers, so this would be a non issue to me.
If you enjoy shooting the gun, and it functions as intended...
