    Public Shooting Range Dress Code?

Those who think that gangs are not in their area; High probability that you are incorrect. Maybe not in your neighborhood, but almost certainly in your town. So far as range dress code goes: Eyes, Ears Mandatory. Highly recommend that women do not wear V-neck or low-cut tops. I have...

    Staples Office Supply is antigun

Unless you are shipping a firearm (and things considered to be firearms), why would you tell the counter drone what you are shipping? Not meaning to be snarky, but so long as the shipment is legal and in compliance with shipping company rules, it is none of their business what is in that box...

When were the last openly racist gun laws repealed?

This really is not what the OP is looking for, but may be good background and reference material. http://www.georgiacarry.org/cms/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/racist-roots-of-ga-gun-laws.pdf

Where does the "90 per cent support expanded background checks" number come fro

I Suspect they polled incoming freshmen at a liberal arts college in a liberal state on the first day of school, after being given candy and ice cream by the cheerleading squad. That isn't any sillier than some of the other ideas being floated around. . .

Traveling I75 FL to TN; where to stop for ammo?

Another one not too far out of your way Academy Sports in Macon, GA Exit 3 on I-475 or exit 162 on I-75. 1689 Eisenhower Pkwy, Macon, GA FYI Adventure Outdoors does not allow carry in their store. Enforcement of this rule, much like their customer service, is haphazard.

Traveling To Georgia With A Handgun

Ahem! Parker, your WV vs GA comparison is off by 180 degrees. Georgia honors permits from states that honor ours. WV will not honor GA permits because Georgia does not impose a training requirement on carriers. Information about carry and possession in GA here...

    Blanket Parking Lot Law

Georgia does not care where you are from. Car carry is legal in this state. And there is no prohibition about parking lots, with the exception of federal property.

    Georgia Carry Question

Your post is correct. I was hijacking your very good comparison to another state where one place of the car is acceptable and another place is not. :D There are no restrictions as to 'plain view' or 'concealed'. I beleive Gov Deal will sign HB 512. Not so sure about SB 101

Request from handgunlaw.us: look at open carry info?

Let me add that rare and common are subjective terms. Georgia has one of the higher percentage per capita of licensed carriers in the country. With that and state premption of local laws, you will see more open carriers here than in locale where local government has a say. YMMV...

Request from handgunlaw.us: look at open carry info?

Georgia is an "Open Carry" state. A Georgia weapons License is required to carry a handgun on your person. The laws (OCGA) makes no difference between open or concealed carry. A permit is not required for a long gun so long as the long gun is carried in fully exposed manner if loaded...
