with all of the scenarios on using loaded rounds ,what pushes the fired brass and primer away from the protruding firing pin bushing? and the primers were locktited in the case.
Lee cast turret
Finally upgraded to a lee cast turret after many years on a single stage Pacific.as to lube i wipe the ram at the start of a session and lube with chain saw bar oil ,the turret has been sprayed with Remington dry teflon as well as the indexing square post. It seams to work for me.

Seams like noone has mentioned the 3rd generation S&W 45's I have a 4516 although it is heavy for a 3 1/2 " bbl . it has a sweet D.A. trigger and never fails to go bang.
