    Good First Trio to Recommend?

Marlin 1894 Cowboy lever gun (great gun and you can get in in 38/357 or 44). Winchester 1897 pump 12 gauge (way better than a coach gun). Ruger new Vaquero in 38/357 or 45LC). All common calibers, and if you stick with 38/357 you'll have same caliber for rifle and pistol. Everyone should have a...

    1100 Competition Synthetic

I'm considering a Remington 1100 Competition for some trap singles/doubles and sporting clays. Wondered if anyone had some experience with this rig?

    Kahr CM9 reliable enough?

CW9 and CM9, both very reliable and ammo forgiving. Easy to conceal, and great triggers. No problems.

    Kahr CM9 woes

Too bad! Hate to hear that quality has slipped. Two CM9's and a PM9. The oldest is five and newest about two years old. All have been flawless.

    Glock 19c vs Ruger SR9c

I have both a G19 and an SR9C. Both are great guns in their own way. The SR9C fits my hand better, and I shoot it better than the Glock. It is also much easier to carry concealed. However, the Glock is absolutely reliable, smooth, quicker to reload, and better crafted than the Ruger. I wish...

    Ruger SR22?

Unless you are hung up on duplicating an AR for training purposes, get the SR22. A lot of fun to shoot and accurate out of the box. Can't beat the 10/22 platform for quality aftermarket suppliers so plenty of good stuff to add on.

    Glock Gen 4 problems?

I have an early Gen 4 19 that had a few 115 (reload) failures in the first hundred rounds. Switched to the 124 loads I use in my 9mm Kimber and had zero failures for over 1k rounds. Just ran some of the old 115's through and they fed fine. Put in the new spring and couldn't tell the difference...

Thin 9mm w/ Shorter Trigger Pull than Kahr

Had a CW9, PM9 and a PPS. All nice guns, but they don't hold a candle to a 3" or 4" 1911 in 9mm. Go for a Kimber Ultra CDPII or Pro Carry II in 9mm. Easier to conceal, super trigger and much more comfortable to shoot.

    1911 in 9mm

You'll love it! Check Kimber's Pro Carry II in 9mm. Great shooter and a real bargain.

    Kel-Tec P32 vs. Beretta 3032 Tomcat

P32 is a perfect pocket pistol. Mine has 700 failure free rounds through it. Customer service is better than some of the high end makers.

factory reloaded 9mm safe in what gun?

My Glocks have never had a round of factory ammo fired through them. Only my reloads.
