It seems you're pretty set on IPSC, in which case the CZ Shadow seems to be the best choice. I'm not familiar with the gun laws in Norway, but if you can keep it in your home, then the Glock 17 is the best choice on your list.
My 4506-1 is my absolute favorite gun. I think most of the people who talk badly about 3rd gen Smiths are only regurgitating what they've heard from a few people who actually had problems with their guns.
The TSW series of guns are a great bargain now that you can find them used for $300-$500.
Without having to wait for the right Colt to pop-up on the auction sites, does anyone make a commander length 9mm 1911?
I'm not looking to spend a fortune, but I would like something decent.
LWRC Why would you spend MORE money on a POF when you could have a better rifle in the LWRC, with good customer service to boot. If for some reason you would not get the LWRC, then I would get the Noveske, as they make the finest DI guns available.
The local gunstore has some of this. I'm assuming it's probably decent, since it's made in Finland. It comes in an egg container looking plastic box. The price for 100 is cheaper than Wally White Box.
Any comments on this ammo?
Thank You
I wouldn't buy either, but I voted for the Bushmaster since the AR15 is a proven system. I'd spend the same amount of money and buy and LMT or a Smith and Wesson. If you are dead-set on ordering the bushmaster, order it from Grant at gandrtactical.com as he does some basic work on Bushmasters...
I find the removeable carry handle to be useless. I have 3 AR's, and the only one with the handle still on it is my Colt 6920. I just like the way it looks stock from the factory.
Since you specified a CQB type rifle, I would recommend that you look at a
14.5" barrel with a permanently...
Keep in mind, the difference between a $600 and an $800 dollar rifle is actually quite noticeable. I would look at an entry level Stag or Rock River. If you can handle pushing two pins out and back in, you could buy a complete lower and a complete upper and save $100. The Double Star lowers...
They really dropped the ball on this one by pushing back the date. If there is a new AWB, then Magpul/Bushmaster had better hope that their product is significantly better than the SCAR and can win them military contracts, or the project will tank from lack of civilian sales.
Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of AR-15's and I do not intend to buy an AR style weapon, perhaps until the Massada(sp?) comes out, if ever.
I am looking for suggestions for a carbine length gun. Caliber is not important. I would like it to be accurate and ultra-reliable. I...
I'm looking at getting a small Colt for CCW. The models I've looked at so far are Det. Specials, Cobra's, and Agents.
Are any of these guns rated for higher pressure loads? If not, can you suggest a good non-+p load?
Thanks
