"FYI - the 3 I saw break were range guns -- the first was 9mm (no surprise b/c it was the most used/rented) using factory ammo (either pmc of american eagle) -- captured guide rod/ recoil spring broke. It was sent back to factory & repl. The next was a 40 cal. Seemed to be a similar failure...
I own the 8000F Inox and the 8045F and I would not take anything for them. Fit my hand like a glove and never a malfunction from either of them after years of ownership (bought them both new).
Lastly, who ever heard of a revolver with a damned safety? Who would want one? When gun designers start putting "safeties" on revolvers, everyone will be irate and refuse to buy one. Guess what happens when you pull the trigger on your Colt or S&W revolver? What else would you want to happen...
