First of all, I did not butcher this rifle...I bought it this way from a Highroader!
But, I think it is really cute and handy. It has a Timney trigger and a decent Crown.
I am looking for a reasonable priced scope mount to replace the rear sight. I have read some less than stellar reviews on...
I had a young man 20 years old say he was afraid to transport his pistol because he was under 21.
We got to checking and can't seem to find the laws the prohibit anyone 18 and older from purchase, transport and use of a handgun as long as they have a foid and no juvi record.
It is "common...
I have a couple of Garands in good condition but the barrels are in bad shape. I am looking for an economical source to get the barrels replaced.
I don't need match grade barrels....just good field grade shooters.
Thanks
I recently purchased this rifle from someone on this website and they failed to mention that the bore was gone on it. It is a neat little pump rifle and I took it to a gun smith to see about having the bore relined. He thought it was too valuable to mess with and thought we would mess up the...
I have never shot a Nagant before...I traded for a good looking Nagant with laminated stock. It is stamped 1943 on receiver. It is not the long rifle.
I took it out with mil surp ammo and it grouped like 10" @ 40 yards. I shoot garands and 03's all the time so I know about what I should...

I have friend that lives in Marietta Ga. He thinks his wife is a little more open to the idea of owning a gun for self defense. My wife & I are NRA Basic pistol instructors and will be visiting him in a couple of weeks. We would like to take him and his wife out shooting but, we are not...
My wife is spokesperson for IllinoisCarry.com
She sent out a news release about the murder of 5 women in Chicago the other day and was invited on the show this morning. She had her crap together and MADE ME PROUD! About 10 minutes long
I don't know if we will ever get this messed up state...
I have a friend needing a ramrod (his is bent) and a butt-plate (his is all scratched up).
I don't shoot black powder :rolleyes:and he doesn't do computers :rolleyes:so, I'm helping him out with something I don't know much about.
Does anyone supply parts for these rifles?
thanks
We are having a Women On Target event Sat. and will be shooting .38 Spl., 9mm, and 45ACP. We bought some of the cheapest ammo we could find. (Mostly Wolf some fmj)
Now, we are looking for targets. I haven't shot centerfire steel reactive targets and don't know how these bullets will work...
I just got a Savage rifle that has been rebarreled to a 220 Swift. It is a good looking heavy barrel but, it isn't free floated and shoots erratic. What would be the best way to remove a little material under the barrel on this cheap black Savage stock?
The wife & I went last year for the first time...Estimate around 125 attended.
With the efforts of my wife and some other dedicated individuals, along with the Cook County "assault Ban", those numbers were swollen to over 1200 last Wed.
It was a great feeling to see the halls of Congress...
I have a friend shooting a Mississippi Rifle and he is having trouble starting bullets down barrell...They load fine in his other .58 cal rifle. He thought Dixie Gun Works used to make a simple sizing device that mounted in a vice.
Anyone know how to size these bullets down a bit?
He is...
My wife & I are range officers at local pistol league in Southern IL.
Last night while shooting .22 pistol, a very experienced shooter had an accidental discharge from 50 ft. barricade using a borrowed Browning Buckmark.
It was right in the middle of the series of 12 rounds from barricade...
My wife is wanting to shoot in some local informal 25 yd centerfire competition shoots. Most of the shooters use double action revolvers. It is timed shooting.
She has no problem with factory loads except that it takes longer to get back on target after recoil with factory's.
I haven't started...

I have never seen one of these conversions installed and need instructions. Also need a source for magazines.
I searched for Day Arms on net and couldn't find any info.
