Get a Kimber 1911. Break in your 1911. My Kimber has a light weight trigger. Shoots great. If you can afford it a trigger job would help.

There is 5 members of our church that belong to the same shooting club and we sponsor a mens night out and ladies night out. We give them a list of ammo to bring and safety rules for the range. If they don't have a gun we will loan them one. The 5 club members act as range officers and help...
I would learn to use the shotgun. Just the noise of racking it might scare the bg away. I would install a Crimson Trace on the 92 for use @ night.
Even a cheap flashlight taped to the barrel will work. And you can get a lasar for the Remy too...
I have the S&W PPK/s in stainless and it shoots great. You will need to break it in though. The Smith has a longer beavertail then the German model so it will not bite your hand when the slide comes back. The slide on mine was real tight when I first got it but now it racks real easy. I did...
I guess I am an "Old Fart". My son thinks he is the gun expert though he has never own one. He uses my rifles and hand guns. I tell him to pull the rifle (8MM Mauser) tight to his shoulder before pulling the trigger. He goes Ok but does do it and it smacks hard in shoulder and bruises him...
Get a good IWB Holster I suggest this one. I tried Crossbreed And Kolster And like this best. Use button down shirts and tie for work. It can hide full size 1911 without printing. Polo's unless real loose print real bad stay away from them. Get a real good belt. Beltman has some good...
I just got a 642ct and it work fine at the range now the cylinder will not rotate when the trigger is pulled. Any ideas before I send it to back to S & W?:cuss:

I carry a Beretta 92FS Compact L Type M. It is a great gun but hard to find Mags for it. I never had a FTF with it. Shoots great. Got it real bargain it was like new.
most surplus ammo is corrosive. I works fine but clean the rifle as soon as your done. Pitting and rust will happen faster then you would. A guy didn't clean his for two days after he shot it and ruined the barrel.
