I've been using 5.0gr of Red Dot with Berry's and Rainier 230gr FMJ. I did notice that I got better velocity and accuracy using the Berry's than the Rainier.

You got a great deal! My XD-9 service model cost me $452 and no ammo. And you got over 1200 rounds of ammo?! I'd say you definitely got a fantastic deal. I think you're going to be happier with the XD than the Sigma.

I've shot a few SiGs and they are a great gun. Rented one at the range that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in well over a year. That baby functioned as though it was right out of the box. And the accuracy was absolutely amazing!

I don't have a TRP but, do have a Fully Loaded 1911A1. On the underside of the slide there are numbers etched on it. Don't have any numbers stamped. These numbers I would "assume" may be the slide's serial number or perhaps a part number. Again these are just my assumptions. The way to find out...
